Free Courses Available

The Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) develops and delivers advanced training for emergency response providers, emergency managers, and other government officials from state, local, and tribal governments. The CDP offers more than 35 training programs at its resident campus in Anniston, Alabama focusing on incident management, mass casualty response, and emergency response to a catastrophic natural or man-made disaster . The CDP offers the only program in the nation featuring Emergency Response training exercises in a toxic chemical agent environment (COBRATF Courses). The CDP also operates the only hospital facility in the United States dedicated solely to training hospital and healthcare professionals in disaster preparedness and response. Training at the CDP campus is federally funded at no cost to state, local, and tribal emergency response professionals or their agency. Approved Courses for Reimbursement by the RAC for 2022-2023

ALL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION REQUESTS ARE SUBJECT TO CURRENT RAC-R POLICY.

Reimbursement for 2022-2023 can be requested using THIS policy, which includes pre-approved courses, and the incorporated request form.

*Reimbursement for all courses is subject to availability of funding and final approval by the Board of Directors. Additionally, all courses must be successfully completed before reimbursement can occur.
